(5) Financial ability to purchase the center at the agreed upon price, plus any add’l funds required by Kumon, the landlord, any legal fees etc. Liquidity requirements will be verified. (6) Proficiency in math & reading (two assessments are part of the recruitment process). There is also a very detailed & comprehensive training session that also must be completed before taking over the center & add’l training after the franchise takeover is completed.
